Yes

Portland was awesome! I wish I could have spent more time there but my whole Portland experience was awesome. I spent most my time in Powells and different coffee shops mostly Stumptowns as I said in my last post. I must say Stumptowns was better than any of my dreams ever imagined (no joke). If you ever have a chance to visit Portland make sure you do it, make sure your hotel has free parking, park your car and never touch it till you leave again. Walking is how you get around Portland they don't like driving there and predestines and bikes rule the roads and all drivers submit to their lordship. But you see more when walking anyways and its very enjoyable exploring such a beautiful place.

Also I got to see and meet Don Miller, which was awesome. He was a great guy very personable and even funnier in person than in his books. I might post some pictures latter and some things I learned from Portland.

I just cant wait to get back!

This week

This week my best friend and I are heading to Portland, Oregon! Not for very long however we leave Salt Lake City Tuesday morning and will be driving all day until we reach Portland (approximately 12 hours away).

The purpose of the trip is two fold, first to go to a book reading at Powells for Donald Miller's new book a Million Miles in a Thousand Years.

Powell's city of books is the worlds largest book store it is a one city block in size!

The second purpose of this trip is to visit Stumptowns coffee, what I have imagined to be one of the worlds greatest coffee shops ever.

This is the trip hopefully we can avoid any crazy snow storms, I will upload some photos probably a few times throughout this trip.
